National Museum of the U S Army
The National Museum of the United States Army is the official museum for the history of the United States Army. It is located on 84 acres at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, 20 miles south of Washington, D.C.. The main building is approximately 185,000 square feet and displays selections from the United States Army Center of Military History.
The Museum was scheduled to open in the summer of 2020, but the COVID-19 outbreak delayed the opening for many months. It is now fully open to the public and admission is free, but reservations are encouraged. This video provides an overview of this comprehensive and first-class museum.
