Next time you're at the rink early, don't scroll on your phone. Go watch the other parents in the stands at the game before you. 👀

You might be surprised what you hear, when you have no emotional attachment to the game. And it might make you cringe. And then ask yourself… Do I sound like that sometimes?

You see, self-awareness is the first key to being the sports parent your child actually needs. So I invite you to first take a good hard look in the mirror, and then answer the question:

WHY DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO? Why did you put your kid in sport in the first place?
