Israel calls arab meeting in West Bank ‘provocative’

The foreign ministers of five Arab nations have strongly criticized Israel for obstructing their planned visit to the occupied West Bank this weekend.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Jordanian foreign ministry expressed the ministers' disapproval of “Israel’s refusal to allow the delegation to travel to Ramallah [on Sunday] for a scheduled meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.”
