Amarnath Yatra 2025: First Batch of Pilgrims Reaches Base Camp at Tikri, Udhampur | News9

The first batch of Shri Amarnath Yatra 2025 pilgrims, flagged off by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, reached their first base camp at Kali Mata Temple in Tikri, Udhampur.
Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai welcomed the yatris and stated that, as per tradition, the Udhampur administration organizes a cultural programme to greet the devotees. She also assured that tight security and smooth logistics have been arranged for a safe and spiritually fulfilling journey.
The Tikri base camp serves as a key resting and ceremonial point before the pilgrims proceed towards the Baltal and Pahalgam routes to the Amarnath Cave Shrine.
