How To Crop An Image Into A Shape Using Photoshop | CC |

This is a video tutorial on how to crop an image into a shape using Photoshop. Images can easily be cropped into a ellipse, triangle, or star using Photoshop. I will be using Photoshop 2023 on a desktop PC for this tutorial.

Simple Steps
1. Open Photoshop.
2. Drag and drop Your Image into Photoshop.
3. Double click on the image layer and click "OK" in the dialog box that opens.
4. Right click on the image layer and choose "Duplicate Layer". In the dialog box that opens click "OK".
5. Click on the eyeball next to the original layer to hide it.
6. In the tools panel choose a shape and make sure "Path" is selected at the top.
7. Drag out a circle on the image by holding down the left mouse button and holding down "Shift" if you want to keep the circle perfectly round.
8. In the tools panel choose the "Path Selection Tool" to position and resize your circle as desired.
9. Click on the "Layer" tab and go to "Vector Mask" then to "Current Path".
10. Go to the "image" tab and choose "Trim", click "OK" in the dialog box.
