For June 7th, 2021, SPC issued a marginal risk for severe weather with no tornado risk for eastern Colorado. But, a Denver Cyclone ended up forming, causing a boundary with severe thunderstorms to form and move through NE Colorado. The conditions in the Denver Cyclone are conducive for landspouts. A short time after thunderstorms initiated along the boundary, a large landspout formed near Firestone, Colorado, and dissipated north of Platteville, Colorado. This boundary had a lot of vorticity, causing many funnels to form throughout the evening.
