Interview - On The Come Up: Trauma Tone

Hailing from Virginia, music producer Trauma Tone began his career working with Chief Keef and Rich Homie Quan. Some of his early production credits includes cult classics like Chief Keef's "Blew My High," Rich Homie Quan's "Man of the Year" and "1000," and the platinum-certified "I Know" by Yo Gotti and Rich Homie Quan. In the years following his breakthrough placements, Trauma Tone worked with Money Man, Jacquees, Plies, Iamsu!, Skippa Da Flippa, and Cozz. However, at the turn of the new decade, Trauma Tone's prominence increased significantly, as he supplied beats for Kevin Gates' songs "Dreka" and "Always Be Gangsta Freestyle," and went on to work with Curren$y, Sada Baby, Bino Rideaux, and Money Man. Trauma Tone's career reached new heights when he landed a beat placement on YoungBoy Never Broke Again's album "Top", which gave him his first-ever song to top the Billboard 200. Since then Trauma Tone has worked with a wide range of artists, such as Migos, BlueBlucksClan, Duke Deuce, Dej Loaf, Lil Reese, Shy Glizzy, among others.

For our latest episode of On The Come Up, Trauma Tone shares how he got into music game, lessons he's learned along the way and where he hopes his career takes him.
