Domestic Abuse Masterclass

Domestic Abuse Master Class coordinated by Gloucestershire Constabulary and University of Gloucestershire. This was delivered in May 2014 to an audience of Multi Agency partners including Police, CPS, Domestic Abuse support organisations, Women's Refuge, Social Services, NHS, Mental Health charities, and Youth Services. The aim of the Master Class event was to disseminate research findings across a wide number of interested parties to promote awareness, share a common purpose, and a recognition of the importance of partnership working in relation to Domestic Abuse.

Speakers at this event were Dr Jane Monckton Smith, Criminologist specialist in homicide and interpersonal violence, and Mr Frank Mullane director of the charity AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse), both of whom are chairpersons for Domestic Homicide Review, and advisors to UK Police Services.
