Indian Plane SUDDENLY ‘BANNED’ Mid-Air! Why? #shorts

Recently, an Air India flight from Delhi to Vancouver had to make a U-turn mid-air and return to India. The flight had already been in the air for several hours—around 7 to 9 hours—when the decision was made to turn back.

The main reason was not a technical fault or emergency, but an operational mistake. Air India had used a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft for the flight, but this specific aircraft was not cleared or approved for operations into Canadian airspace for that route. Because of this regulatory issue, the flight could not continue to its destination.

The problem was discovered while the plane was already flying over or near Chinese airspace. Once authorities realized the aircraft did not have the proper clearance, the airline had no option but to bring it back to Delhi instead of proceeding to Canada.

The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers were fine, but the incident caused major inconvenience. It also raised concerns about airline procedures, since such clearance issues are usually checked well before departure.

In short, the plane turned back not because of danger, but because the wrong aircraft was assigned to the route.
