On the eve of the #karenreadtrial, Judge Cannone ruled against the defense team. The third party culprit theory (that Boston police officer John O’Keefe was beaten up by corrupt police officer Brian Albert, ATF agent Brian Higgins, and teenager Colin Albert) will not be admissible. In particular, this applies to Colin Albert. There is insufficient evidence of his involvement in O’Keefe’s death. As far as the remaining two, the Judge will decide during trial but the evidence will likely be inadmissible.
