Don't Want Glasses? The ENVY Lens Implant is BACK!

The ENVY Multifocal Lens by Bausch & Lomb is a lens implant that can help reduce or eliminate the need for glasses after Cataract Surgery or Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE). It is a trifocal lens to help patients see far, intermediate, and near distance without the need for glasses. It also helps neutralize a broad range of astigmatism. Like other multifocal lenses, there are pros and cons with the Envy lens. Although it can eliminate the need for glasses, not everyone is a candidate for this type of lens. Some patients may notice bothersome halos or glare at night, and a few percent of patients may not like their overall vision quality. It's important to be evaluated by an experienced ophthalmologist who is familiar with all the various types of presbyopia correcting lens implants, so that way you can find out whether or not you are a good candidate.
