Exploring a Mysterious Underground Labyrinth in Turkey

We got lost inside Derinkuyu, the largest underground city in the world. Hidden beneath Cappadocia, Turkey, this 18-level ancient city once housed 20,000 people—and much of it still hasn’t been explored.

With no guide, no map, and no other visitors around, we went deep into the tunnels on our own. What we found was eerie, fascinating, and honestly kind of terrifying.

If you're into ancient history, abandoned places, or real travel adventures, this is for you. Watch until the end for tips on how to visit and what to expect.
