Winds from the northwest at 30 gusting to 50, and a high near zero. Tonight, clearing and cold, with a low of minus 10 and a wind chill closer to minus 15.

And over in Attawapiskat, cloudy conditions continue through the day with light flurries at times. Winds northwest near 30 gusting to 50 kilometres an hour, and a high of plus 1. Tonight, partial clearing with a low near minus 7.

Saturday brings brighter skies for most of the Far North with sunny breaks and highs from 3 to 5 degrees, while Sunday stays calm and cool with a mix of sun and cloud and afternoon highs near plus 4. Overnight lows both nights will dip well below freezing, between minus 8 and minus 12 depending on location.
