West Orange town historian invites us to the place where David Cassidy spent his formative years

Joseph Fagan is the town historian for West Orange, where David Cassidy spent his formative years. Located less than 15 miles from Manhatten, the town offers a rich history. The first settlers landed in 1666 at what is now Newark Bay.
In this week’s episode of The David Cassidy Connections, Joseph takes us round the township and shares photographs of places where David would have played as a boy. He explains some of the history of West Orange including the 9/11 Memorial which stands at the top of Eagle Rock where there are panoramic views of the New York skyline.
