Chrono Trigger - lofi/chill mix

I felt like most of my CT playlists featured only the same few creators, so I decided to go in a different direction this time. Since school is resuming for many people, I felt it was a good time to upload this. I'm also proud of the visual I used - I felt the old film effect fit the mood well, but you may want to avert your gave if you're sensitive to... flashy things.

I don't really know if this is lofi either but it fit the mood so so well. Plus this cover itself is just so damn good, I've seen people with no knowledge of Chrono Trigger fall in love with this song.

I feel like this is one of the most popular Chrono Trigger lofi remixes, and it certainly deserves the attention. Hands down one of my favorite versions of Wind Scene out there.

This one has a vibe quite similar to the first Wind Scene cover I had at the beginning of the mix. Simply fantastic.

The second of Kevin's works to appear on our list. This starts very close to the original before taking it's own direction. I like that.

I removed this song's intro because while I like it, I wanted to keep the chill vibes from the previous songs. The remix itself is a very creative and well-done take on what was a very intimidating boss theme. I could totally see myself listening to this on a late-night walk in the rain.

The video this comes from had an FMV of the anime cutscenes from the PSX version to go along with it. I don't enjoy the cutscenes because of the drastic changes to characters (Such as giving Azala a frill, removing Lavos' eye, etc), but the remix is one of my personal favorite versions of this theme. Laid back and I love the samples, too.

I like how this samples the original but adds it's own flavor to it. Not a lot of remixes can do that well so I'm glad this does so flawlessly.

I felt this was good to wrap up the mix, as it's pretty calm and quiet, and if you loop the playlist it flows back into that first Wind Scene well.
