Coronavirus outbreak: Are delivery apps hurting restaurants that are struggling to survive?

Two months ago, dine-in restaurants in Canada were ordered to stop welcoming guests. Same thing at bars, pubs and other places that serve food and drinks.

COVID-19 has ravaged thousands of businesses from coast to coast. Some will never open again. Those that do remain open serve take-out meals or, they're filling delivery orders. At the same time, they are sizing up their restaurants to figure out the new reality: what to do when they can actually seat their guests again?

Sean O'Shea reports on their obstacles to survival, starting with the delivery apps that consumers click on-perhaps not realizing those apps may be standing in the way of their restaurants' survival.
