This talk primarily discusses life as a game of cricket which basically means that life is not a solo sport but team sport. We, as individuals, are a result of tons of factors like the people around us, the school/college we go to, the content we consume, the guidance we receive, the mentors we have, and so on. The talk discusses 3 broad areas: the teammates (also known as friends in real life), the coach (also known as mentors/teachers/parents in real life), and the captain (also known as yourself). This talk also focuses on how all of these factors need to work in tandem to achieve the “dream spot” in life. Deepak Pareek, a graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, co-founded Career Keeda, an educational platform focusing on profession-specific practical training and skill development at the age of 19.
At 22, he took an unconventional path in the form of a Content Creator/Social Media Influencer. He started creating millennial-friendly, thought-provoking content and aims to bring a positive change in the country through his content. His videos have crossed over 10M views online.
Apart from academic and professional domain, he currently holds the position of Marketing Communications Chairperson at Lions Club of Kolkata Nexgen.
