Hello everyone and welcome to video #1 of the garage mini series. What your about to see, I have no words for! Its bad, like really bad. The garage is different from any other area in my home, other clutter areas/dumping ground areas such as the mudroom or entryway closet are areas were clutter accumulated in a relatively short period of time, whereas the garage has accumulated items over the years, some stuff in the garage we've carried with us from house to house over a decade. The garage is the place that broken items go to, random items go to, tools and machinery/equipment, books, clothes, old household items go to, there's even an old car in there and even the car has stuff jam packed in it! There's a lot a bit of everything in the garage. I don't go into the garage, I rarely ever go into the garage, only to periodically dump things in there. I am not looking forward to this declutter, I have pushed this off for a very long time, but it has to get done. I am on a journey to minimalism and I'm determined to minimize everything throughout my whole house, including the garage. Plus winter is coming and I would actually like to use the garage (for the 1st time ever) and we also need the room from the garage to store materials, to finish the mudroom transformation. This video is jam packed with decluttering motivation and its of course super long and super chatty! I really hope you enjoy today's video, thank you so much for being here with me!
