Michigan State Parks 100: Interlochen

Interlochen State Park is tucked away in the northwest part of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. With both modern and rustic campgrounds, two inland lakes, a beach, and a cultural music center across the road, it offers a lot of reasons to visit. The park also is close enough to Traverse City that we recommend camping here and driving in for the touristy stuff rather than staying in the city.
