Everyone seems to think they have a right to tell new or expecting parents, how to parent.

A new Australian book reflects that experience for people with a disability who have kids.

Author and musician Eliza Hall collected stories from other people like her, who are parents with a disability, and put them together into a book called 'We've got this.'

Artist Debra Kennahan and her daughter both have Achondroplasia - a common form of dwarfism. She shares her journey to becoming a mother with The Drum's Stephanie Boltje.
