How To Switch Back To Old Icons On iOS 26 (Best Method)

While iOS 26 does not natively allow reverting app icons, you can restore old-look icons using the Shortcuts app for most apps and toggle options for the classic Phone app layout.

Restore Classic Phone App Layout
If your main concern is the Phone app:
Open the Phone app and go to the Calls tab.

Tap the three-line menu icon in the upper right corner.
Select Classic instead of Unified. This will restore the old tab-based layout with Favorites, Recents, Contacts, Keypad, and Voicemail at the bottom

To revert to the modern layout, return to the Calls tab, tap the menu, and choose Unified.
