DIY Puff Sleeve Dress w/Ruffle Hem (McCall's Pattern)

Sewing should be fun and patterns should be treated as a guide only rather than something to followed step by step. In this video, I used McCall's Pattern M7946 in Style C to create a sweet eyelet dress fit for a picnic at the park or an outdoors brunch.

As usual, I had to make some adjustments to the pattern to fit my petite frame. I moved the waistline up and reduced the amount of space between each casing. I shortened the dress length further by removing about 1 inch from the bodice and ruffle. Lastly, I reduced the width of the sleeve and shortened the length of the sleeves.
