Dr. Gerald Johnson lectures about the Chesapeake Meteorite Impact at the Hampton History Musuem 5/8

Part 5 of 8. In conjunction with the current exhibition "A Fragile Balance: Man and Nature in Hampton," the Hampton History Museum presents "Extraterrestrial Impact to the Chesapeake Bay: The Geology of Hampton Roads" by Gerald Johnson, Professor Emeritus of Geology, the College of William and Mary.

This lecture was given on August 5th, 2013 about a 2-mile wide asteroid that hit near the eastern shore of the modern Chesapeake Bay over 35 million years ago. This series of short videos has a few gaps in it as my camera only allows for 10 minute films, so there's some things missing, though I got the majority of the lecture.
