Big tune in the 80's Nitty Gritty recorded his first solo single in the early 1980s for producer Sugar Minott. He worked on the Zodiac sound system and recorded further singles, before moving on to King Jammy in 1985, with which he had his breakthrough success with "Hog inna Minty" a Jamaican folk song that was an instant success; in 1986 "Sweet Reggae Music" topped the reggae charts in the UK & Jamaica. http://tiny.cc/2w2qk
