On Thursday, March 11, St. Mary of Egypt was blessed to host a talk by
Fr. Josiah Trenham. Archpriest of St. Andrew's Orthodox Church in
Riverside, California, Fr. Josiah is known as the author of Rock And
Sand: An Orthodox Appraisal of the Protestant Reformers and Their
Teachings, as well as popular videos and lectures through Patristic
Nectar Publications and its YouTube channel.

Speaking on the topic The Joy of Lent, Fr. Josiah sought to encourage attendees toward a beneficial mindset toward the Lenten season.
