The Strait of Hormuz would remain "completely open" for the duration of the truce, according to Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. He stated that the route will be accessible to all commercial vessels in a post on X. Trump noted in a another post that even if the strait is open, the US naval blockade would remain in place until the "transaction" with Iran is finished. According to the Associated Press, crude prices have dropped 10% since the announcement of the Hormuz Strait's opening.
