Join me as we explore London's oldest food market - the Borough Market! 🥬🦀🥖🧀🍖🇬🇧 This market claims to be over 1,000 years old, although the earliest known record is 1276. Located opposite the London Bridge Station and under the railway lines, it is a true London gem offering quality food and essential produce -- fruit, veg, meat, fish and cheese - you name it!

Visited not only by locals, this is also a favourite lunch spot for people working in the area and a popular tourist destination. This market is usually packed, regardless of what day of the week (closed on Sundays) but busiest on Saturdays. However, because of the pandemic, the footfall has dropped significantly. There are noticeably fewer shops, stalls and traders compared to pre-Covid times.

Let's hope that things will go back to normal soon. Praying for a Covid-free world. ❤️
