SatelliteSkill5 App Introduction

Thank you for downloading SatelliteSkill5! Our one-stop-shop to introduce students to satellites and space and to help students understand how and why satellite data can be used to solve challenges in achieving the 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out by the United Nations.

Here you will get an introduction to the different levels and challenges in the app, where students dive into Augmented Reality to explore how satellites observe the world. Each level focuses on a different type of data captured by satellite and gives real-world examples of where and how it can be used. Users must complete each level’s challenge in order to unlock a real-world data set that they can use for their own research. Levels can be completed in any order depending on the users’ interest.
