Marathon Training - Recovery Run (25 minutes)

What I thought was going to be an easy, recovery run for 25 minutes turned into a surprise fartlek (intervals of 5k pace, 1 mile pace) finishing with a nice and easy recovery run pace.

I’m glad this training plan so far has been about getting out of my comfort zone. Changing the pace and having different types of runs whether its one day recovery, another day speed, another one long run, has definitely helped with my overall conditioning just a week into this plan.

Would you ever consider running a 5k, 10k, half-marathon, or marathon in your life? Why or Why not?
