GINGERBREAD TRES LECHES #holidaydesserts

Gingerbread Tres Leches 🍰🎄I have been told this is one of the best cakes I’ve ever made so do with that information what you will 😌

INGREDIENTS:

CAKE BATTER:
3 cups flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
¾ tsp salt
2 tsp ginger
1 ½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cloves
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 cup hot water
1 cup molasses
1 cup white granulated sugar
¾ cup melted butter
2 egg yolks
3 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract

*bake at 350 for 35 minutes*

TRES LECHES:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can of evaporated milk
1 cup heavy cream

WHIPPED CREAM:
2 cups heavy cream
½ cup powdered sugar
