Re-creating Big Country's classic guitar tone

Re-creating the classic harmoniser/pitch-shifted guitar sound. I'm at the disadvantage of not having an MXR-129 pitch transposer rack-mounted unit, but I believe I've got reasonably close using my trusty old Boss GT-5 effects unit, using a combination of Overdrive (not heavy, raspy distortion), harmoniser & some reverb.
