In this video I show how to replace the GPU cooling fan on an MSI ms-16K2 gaming laptop. This customer brought his laptop into my shop complaining of a noisy fan. Noisy fans usually mean the bearings of the computer fan have failed or are going to fail. Continuous usage of the laptop with the fans in this condition may cause overheating issues if the fan completely fails. Other signs of a failing fan or symptoms are if the laptop runs hot or you have a fan error. I show how to completely disassemble this MSI gaming laptop, remove the motherboard, replace the fan, and reassemble the entire laptop and test at the end.
