Stephen O'Malley Workshop @ Beaux-Arts de Paris | Red Bull Music Academy

On February 22nd and 23rd, 2016, Red Bull Music Academy hosted a two-day session at Beaux-Arts de Paris featuring Stephen O’Malley of drone metal icons Sunn O))). Sharing his experience of translating sounds into physically perceptible experiences, O’Malley got together with a group of visual artists studying at the fine arts institution for a collaborative workshop, which was followed by a public performance. O’Malley also took a seat on the Academy lecture couch to discuss his ideas of how sound works in the physical space.
