Woodturning - Two Bowls of Ginkgo

Hello, I made a bowl to test the hollowing tools I made. The used tree is a ginkgo tree.
It was easier to use than bowl gouge, and it was able to dig out the inside at a faster rate.
The tree broke when digging the inside of the second bowl, probably because it dug a lot of deep and dug out the outside.
I think we need to cut it from the outside to the inside.

The goal of one of the two bowls was to make it possible to act as a lid and also as a bowl, but it broke down and became smaller in diameter. I think we need to make the lid of a large bowl again.
