A super famous punk pop singer Avril Lavigne was born in Canada, in 1984. She started pursuing singing career as a teenager and released the first album Let Go with millions of sold copies at the age of just 16. In the year 2000 a young starlet signed a huge contract and that’s eventually how her singing career boomed. After that she began releasing extremely successful albums, touring around the world and getting millions of fans across the globe.
Apart from being a great singer with a beautiful and strong voice, Avril also debuted in the moviemaking industry as a voice actress.
But who stands behind such a role model for millions of women worldwide? Let’s have a closer look at Lavigne’s family members and closest people, who surround her.

Avril’s father Jean-Claude worked as a technician for Bell Canada. He was one of those, who noticed Avril’s talent to singing and so, bought her guitars, a microphone, a drum kit and many other instruments so that she could develop her skills in this sphere.

The mother Judith-Rosanne is a housewife. She is very proud of all daughter’s achievements and is her number one fan. Parents support and dedication played a very positive role in Lavigne’s career and now she is one of the top artists not only in Canada but also worldwide.

A popular artist has two siblings. The first one is a brother named Matthew. As a kid, Matthew never liked how a famed singer performed and called it rather shouting than singing. In 2012, the only brother to a celebrity stated that his sister is transsexual. However, there is absolutely no proof of that. So, we very much doubt someone believed this rumor.

Michelle is a sister to a famed Lavigne. Unfortunately, nothing much is known about her life, except that she studied at the University in Canada.

Coming closer to the celebrity’s personal life, she walked down the aisle twice with a guitarist and singer Deryck Jason Whibley being her first husband. At first they had been friends for about two years but when Avie turned 19, they started dating. After two years they decided to tie the knot officially and had been married since 2006 up till 2010. During four years of a married life, the couple didn’t parent any children, but Avril featured in a movie, then created and released a line of perfumes and finally, began working on a fashion line. It is still unknown what was the reason of the divorce.

Chad Kroeger, who is a front man of the Nickelback walked a beautiful singer down to the altar in 2013. The two love birds met in France and a year later got married in Canada. After two years of a married life, they filed for a divorce but remain close friends and can be often seen together working in a studio.

The famous singer doesn’t have any children as yet.
