Vintage Kodak Brownie Camera - In Depth Look and Real Negatives Produced
Check out this vintage camera - the Kodak Brownie 2A Model C. I un-bag it, explain how it works, and then try it out IRL (in real life)! You might be surprised at how the photos turn out; I show them side by side next to iPhone photos of the same scene. Also at the end of the video I show some fascinating images taken by this very type of camera, scanned from negatives that I own.
Don't miss the companion video to this one, BOMsplained: How Apertures and Depth of Field Work, in which I demonstrate the physics behind why a smaller aperture still allows the entire image to be captured, and why the amount of the image in focus is shallower.
