Air Starting A 1937 Enterprise Inline-Six Diesel At Vista, California 6-24-17

Thank you to YouTuber Engine Jim for supplying the information that I used in this video since I forgot to take a picture on the information placard for this engine. So checkout his channel to see more of these cool old engines that they have at the AGSEM grounds in Vista, California.

This engine was used to power the Palomar Observatory complex atop Mount Palomar in Southern California.

The steps you see are:
First, tuning on the electricity for the electric fuel pump.
Second, setting the governor to the run position.
Third, purging the fuel lines of air, catching the fuel in the can.
Fourth, pulling the handle for the air starter to turn the engine over.
