"Daugavas ledus ceļš" ir kā veltījums Latvijas simtgadei. Tā autore Inga Meijere aicina, svinot svētkus, arī atcerēties un pieminēt un būt pateicīgiem par iespēju būt brīviem. Skaņdarbs arī veltīts cilvēkiem, kuru likteņi tika izmainīti 2.pasaules kara laikā.
