Just a quick video showing why I decided to upgrade to the Milwaukee 2967 M18 FUEL 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench with the 8.0 Forge Battery. I also showed why I went with the Milwaukee protective boot Model # 49-16-2967 vs the cheaper ones on Amazon.
I have been using this now for a few days and I definitely see and feel a difference. For me, this really is a nice upgrade from the Milwaukee 2767 that I have been using for the last few years. I like the three LED's on the front of the tool and I think the shorter overall length will help me get into some tighter spots that the 2767 had previously struggled to fit into. The additional power along with the lighter weight Forge Battery compared to the High Output HD12.0 that I usually use on it is also a big improvement. As you saw in the video, I had gone back to the 5.0 battery on my 2767 because it was feeling a little too heavy with the 12.0.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase and look forward to using it for many years.
BTW, I bought this at Home Depot on their 'Deal of the Day' which is how I got the FORGE Battery thrown in with that package deal. I also wanted to have a local place that I could warranty it if needed. I also bought the boot from Home Depot, but it wasn't on sale. I will do my best to get all of the appropriate links in the description for you, but please keep in mind that Milwaukee tools purchased from Amazon may not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty because Amazon is not an authorized dealer.
