The nWo stable and storyline during the mid 90s turned out to be one the best things about WCW progamming. The initial faction (featuring Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan) brought more eyes to World Chmapionship Wrestling and their flagship Monday Nitro television show, and over time, the New World Order completely dominated all aspects of WCW. This went beyond just what we saw on TV, the powerful members of the nWo had enough stroke to make changes backstage also.
The nWo were seen by many within WCW as the key to winning the Monday Night Wars but looking back, the storyline also created a series of problems. From the group's expansion in such a short period of time, the multitude of different nWo groups, the fact that no finish was ever written for the nWo storyline.. the nWo turned out to be both a blessing and a curse for WCW (and even the WWF / WWE). This video looks at 6 key problems with the nWo.
