Ricky Nelson -- MAD MAD WORLD "Album Seven By Rick" #27 in 1962, Imperial Records 9167. Born Eric Hilliard Nelson, May 8, 1940, Teaneck, New Jersey. Died in plane crash, DeKalb, Texas, December 31, 1985 (age 45). Son of bandleader Ozzie Nelson, and vocalist Harriet Hilliard. Rick and his brother David appeared on the Nelson's radio show from March 1949; and later on TV 1952-1966. Rick formed his own Stone Canyon Band 1969; in movies "Rio Bravo", "The Wackiest Ship In The Army", and "Love And Kisses". Married to Kristin Harmon (sister of actor Mark Harmon) in 1963, divorced in 1982. Their daughter Tracy is a TV/movie actress; their twin sons began recording as "Nelson" in 1990. Ricky was one of the first teen idols of the rock era; induced into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 1987.
