10 Years Later: Tuscaloosa, April 27, 2011 Retrospective
April 27, 2021 marks the 10-year anniversary of the tornado that touched down in Tuscaloosa, killing 64 people. The Tuscaloosa Thread interviewed several city leaders at the time, (WVUA Meteorologist Richard Scott, Mayor Walt Maddox, Tuscaloosa Fire Chief Alan Martin) to hear their perspectives on what it was like to be on the ground the day of.
