This week, Nick catches up with longtime friend Louie Pérez, songwriter, percussionist, guitarist, and co-founder of Los Lobos. Louie thought about sharing his recipe for vegan tofu scramble but wound up sharing some of the secrets of the rhythm that drives so many of Los Lobos’ more folkloric songs that have their roots in various regions in Mexico.
