Building Skills in the Building Field with Sierra College

We’re all about the hands-on training in the #CaliforniaConservationCorps. For #CCCSacramento Corpsmembers, they’re using their hands, gloves, and brains to cut and frame, as they learn the tricks of the trade. Construction crews have long been a part of the CCC’s project work. With this new partnership with Sierra College, Corpsmembers are gaining the certifications needed to continue in the energy and construction fields. Plus, they’re learning how to properly use hand and power tools. It’s a training opportunity that can build their resumes and communities. #CCCResourceConservation
