Have you ever wanted to know more about the "External Tool" option that appears throughout Canvas? The Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard opens up significant possibilities for innovative teaching and learning activities within Canvas. This session will be a primer, a "How-To" lesson, in creating LTI assignments. Attendees will understand how Canvas interacts with an external tool, including how an external tool can capture Canvas information and send performance-related data back to the Canvas gradebook. This session will be technically-oriented for those who have moderate technical abilities.
