Amputee Walking School at St. John Providence

Paralympians Dennis Oehler and Todd Schaffhauser returned to St. John Providence for an amputee walking school, held in the Rehab Gym of St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Macomb Center on Saturday, July 27, 2013. The event was incredibly motivating, with many attendees who received valuable (and free) guidance on how to live a more active life with a prosthesis. Check out this video from a 14-year-old girl who lost her leg at age 12 due to cancer.
