All New 2026 Nissan Terra body-on-frame SUV is coming! First look!

Nissan is currently developing the next-generation body-on-frame SUV, and based on the latest spy photos we believe that it will look very similar to these renders.

In terms of design, it borrows the front fascia from the all-new Nissan Frontier Pro pickup truck, while the side and the rear remind us of the new Toyota Land Cruiser.

The new  SUV will likely share its underpinnings with the Frontier Pro pickup truck , which is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system. It is based on a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor integrated into the gearbox. The total system output exceeds 410 horsepower, while the torque is limited to 800 Newton-meters of torque. The declared electric range is 135 kilometers.

All models feature a 5-link rear suspension and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, which automatically controls torque distribution between the front and rear wheels.

Inside, the cabin is spacious and has a premium look, with a standard panoramic roof, a 10-inch LCD instrument panel, and a huge 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen. Front seat heating, ventilation and seat-back massage will be available too.
