Living Expenses of a Single Person in Australia 2020 + How to Cut Costs

Hope you are all doing well! After being out of home for over a month I've been able to put together a pretty rough summary of my living expenses as a single, 20y/o old woman in Australia.

To be honest I was quite happily surprised by the results of this! Despite living out of home and being completely financially independent I am living more comfortably than ever and am happily putting away a nice portion of my income each month. Getting this clarity has made me feel much more at peace with my decision to rent short-term and has also motivated even more to be frugal and have gratitude for everything I do have.

I know from personal experience before moving out all of the unknown, variable expenses of living out of home scared me. I thought it would be near impossible to save and it would be such a waste of money. It's a big part of the reason I was at home for as long as I was. I hope anybody feeling the same way can see through this video that that doesn't always have to be the case. You can live comfortably and continue to kick financial goals!
