New Braunfels was established in 1845 by German immigrants and is one of the oldest cities in Texas. It even has the oldest bakery in the state, Naegelin's Bakery, established in 1868. There are also so much art and history throughout the downtown and delicious German restaurants that will make you salivate as you pass by them!
