IDRIVEACLASSIC reviews: 1970s Austin Allegro

In today’s video we take out the instantly recognisable, Austin Allegro, which is one of the cars often derided by those who don’t like British Leyland. It’s the successor to the ADO16 1100 we took out the other week and the car which came before the Maestro – so really a missing piece in the puzzle of cars to be featured on IDRIVEACLASSIC.
This video is a bit longer than usual because for all those who call the car the ‘all aggro’ – I wanted to show you there’s another side of the coin to the car once badged The new driving force from Austin
